This exceptional “Croissant” lounge sofa, designed by the avant-gardist Raphael Raffel in his French atelier in 1970, embodies such an experience.

And for those seeking a more active seating position, the design cleverly allows for flipping the sofa for a different posture.
Truly the fruition of Raffel’s innovative spirit, the “Croissant” form, reminiscent of a giant, luxurious beanbag, provides ample space for up to three guests. A hidden zipper system allows for easy refilling of the foam in the event that the material gives way naturally, ensuring this “sculpture” remains a cherished companion for years to come.
Beyond its functional brilliance, this lounge sofa is a unique and rare treasure of French design. Our atelier restored and reupholstered the sofa in dark brown full-grain leather. Excellent condition.
