Designed in 1986 by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni, the “Miss” chair is defined by its distinctive circular armrest, a continuous curved element that frames the seat and gives the piece its sculptural identity.
The solid wood structure is carefully balanced by the softness of the leather seat, creating a refined dialogue between material and form. The tapered legs and precise joinery reflect the Scarpa studio’s architectural approach to furniture design.
Afra and Tobia Scarpa played a central role in shaping Italian design through their collaborations with companies such as Molteni, Cassina and B&B Italia.
