The shade is built from two glass discs held together by small metal clips, which leaves a narrow gap along its widest edge. The Alien belongs to the Space Age current of Italian lighting design, where UFO and saucer forms became a recurring theme for table lamps. Cesaro’s design for Tre Ci Luce works through the simplest means: two glass elements, a few metal fixings and a single conical support. The frosted surface spreads the light evenly through the glass, the clear tip is the only transparent element, and the cone keeps the proportions grounded.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0954/5688/7157/files/raw-192_80b06d81-b0d5-4b65-b253-fd047ee21eea.jpg?v=1793203625
